Position:  Security Escorts

Description:  Functional Responsibility:  Security Escort personnel duties include escorting and controlling the movement of non-cleared personnel throughout the sponsor complex on a 24/7 basis. Personnel escorted include non-cleared maintenance, custodial, vendor, and contractor/subcontractor personnel as well as non-cleared personnel who have approved, scheduled meetings or appointments with specific agency personnel. Security Escorts are responsible for monitoring the actions, and controlling the movements of all “escortees” assigned to them, at all times they are in their charge. Additionally, all Security Escort personnel adhere to sponsoring agency’s Escort processes and procedures to ensure all visits are conducted professionally and with minimal affect on operational mission

Professional Experience: 

• Be a citizen of the United States of America.
• Have a Social Security Card issued and approved by the Social Security Administration
• Be at least 21 years of age. While there is no limit as to the maximum age of security guards, all security guards must be able to withstand the physical demands of the job and must be capable of responding to emergencies.
• Possess, at a minimum, either a high school diploma or a GED equivalency certificate.
• Speak English fluently, read and comprehend written English, and compose coherent written reports in English

Education: 
High School graduate or possess a GED.
